Fire Engine (Apparatus) Visits & Station Tours

APPARATUS / ENGINE VISITS
West Metro Fire Rescue loves going out into the community. Whether it be a birthday/milestone celebration or a community/school event, you can request for West Metro Fire to come with one of our rigs (fire apparatus) to talk about the fire service, show off the rigs, do bunker gear demonstrations, and answer any questions you might have. West Metro Fire Rescue requires that all requests are at least two weeks in advance.
We will do our best to accommodate the event on the day and time requested, but please be aware that our crews may not be able to attend due to a previously scheduled event, training, etc.
Please note: Our crews remain in service during their visit, which may result in a late arrival, an early departure, or even a last minute cancellation if they're called to an emergency. We truly appreciate your understanding and flexibility. We look forward to our visit!

STATION TOURS
West Metro invites you to come visit us at our fire stations. A Station tour is a unique opportunity for community members to visit their local fire station, meet the firefighters, and learn about the life-saving equipment and emergency response operations that keep their neighborhoods safe. At West Metro Fire District, we welcome visitors of all ages to explore our stations, see our fire trucks up close, and gain valuable fire safety knowledge. Our firefighters are proud to serve and enjoy engaging with the community, answering questions, and demonstrating the skills and tools they use every day. Whether you're a school group, family, or organization, we invite you to schedule a visit and experience firsthand the dedication and teamwork that go into protecting our community. Hope to see you soon!
