Board of Directors
West Metro Board of Directors meets once a month to oversee the district budget and make policy decisions, ensuring that the district's resources are wisely allocated.
- The seven-member board is elected by district voters and the meetings are open to the public.
- Each member represents a district within the overall fire district and welcomes your questions or concerns about any fire, medical or safety issue.
- The Board oversees policy and the district budget, ensuring that taxpayer dollars and district resources are wisely allocated to keep those we serve safe and protected.
Notice of Election:
West Metro will be holding a polling place election on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m for seats on the West Metro Board of Directors. This is an "at-large" election, and electors can vote for candidates running in all districts.

- Director District Two: Steven Haire
- Director District Three: Joe Zimmermann
- Director District Five: Jeremiah "Jay" Willmott and Caroline "Carolyn" Wolfrum

WEST METRO FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT BALLOT QUESTION A:
Shall the existing limitations on the terms of office contained in Article XVIII, Section 11, of the Colorado Constitution be lengthened from Two consecutive terms of office (8 years) to Three consecutive terms of office (12 years) as applied to the West Metro Fire Protection District’s Board of Directors?
There are four polling locations:
- West Metro Fire Rescue Station 16: 3880 Upham St. Wheat Ridge, CO 80033
- West Metro Training Center: 3535 South Kipling, Lakewood, CO 80235
- West Metro Administration Offices: 433 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, CO 80226
- West Metro Fire Rescue Station 15: 6220 North Roxborough Park Road, Littleton, CO 80125
